Forty kilometers from Slavonski Brod is eco-ethno village Stara Kapela. Fairytale village is a mixture of aspiration for environmental and ethnological
preservation. Almost died-out and without inhabitants, todays village is rebuilt
with old traditionla materilas which represents vilage as it was in the past in
Slavonia. Breathtaking ambient is completed with 13 km bike routes equiped
with all touristic contents (traditional sightseeing building - čardaci,
information boards ...). Visitors can also enjoy the horse rides or in traditional
wagon or snow-wagon rides.
It is an especial delignt to see unique streetlights that reminds of traditionl
streetslights in Slavoniana villages. It is completed with the prettiest Slavonic
lyrics. And, like they say in Stara Kapela: "The road here ends and mobile
phones are out of range."
